The Screaming Brendas hailed from Darwin and were around in the late 90s – early 2000s. The band sent me this cool 3-track demo on CDR for a DIY as fuck compilation I put out around that time called Punk? Rodeo. From memory, which is sketchy, the band broke up after a personnel change that didn’t work out. Rickos of The Screaming Brendas went on to form an alternative country band called The Duanes. The Brendas were a great band. If anyone wants the full demo just email me.
